The Association of Community Pharmacists of Nigeria (ACPN) has urged the Federal Government to scale up on meeting her primary healthcare needs.
Chairman, ACPN, Adewale Aderemi Oladigbolu, stated this, at the weekend, in Lagos, during the unveiling of the association’s modality for its 41st yearly national scientific conference slated to hold July 25-29, 2022 in Lagos, with the theme, “Never Waste A Crisis: Community Pharmacists Learning For Future Preparedness.”
According to him, community pharmacists are the most accessible-trained healthcare providers that offer services along the protective, preventive, curative, promotion and palliative spectra of the health delivery system.
He also said that the yearly national scientific conference was a unique opportunity for practitioners to deliberate on contemporary issues affecting the practice of pharmacy and healthcare in Nigeria, adding: “It is noteworthy that other critical stakeholders in the healthcare industry usually join us in policy debates at this all-important event.
