We are currently recruiting for the role of an Accident & Emergency (A&E) Nurse 

 

Job Title: A & E Nurse

Job type:Full Time 

Location: Port Harcourt

 

Job Summary :  

Responding to patients in medical emergencies.

 

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities: 

• Being ready to respond and equipped to deal with a medical emergency
• Quickly assessing patient needs
• Treating critical injuries, allergic reactions and trauma
• Maintaining emergency room care standards
• Triage each patient as they arrive and collect information to help inform diagnosis.
• Working closely with Doctors from a range of Specialists, Consultants Anaesthetist and Surgeon in order to ensure that each patient gets the appropriate care.
• Knowledge and compliance to SOP/Protocols/Policies in the discharge of A& E Nursing duties

 

 

Job Specification: 

Qualification: 

• RN, A & E Nursing Certification
• Minimum of 3years' experience in the role
• BLS/ACLS
• Sufficient clinical knowledge
