Job Title: Aesthetic Nurse

Location: Abuja

Job Purpose

The Aesthetic Nurse delivers safe, evidence-based, and client-focused non-surgical treatments while supporting overall clinical operations and ensuring compliance with medical and spa standards. In addition to advanced aesthetic procedures, the nurse provides medical support including blood draws, numbing administration, and first aid when required.

The role also encompasses holistic spa therapies—including massage, body scrubs, hamams, and other body treatments—allowing for seamless integration between medical aesthetics and wellness.

The Aesthetic Nurse works closely with the Medical Director, aestheticians, and spa therapists to create an exceptional client journey that combines medical results with therapeutic care.

This is a full-time role, five days per week (10:00 AM – 8:00 PM Mondays - Saturday, 2 PM – 8 PM on Sundays with two offscheduled days off).

Key Responsibilities

Clinical & Aesthetic Care:

• Perform advanced non-surgical treatments such as injectables, PRP, microneedling, chemical peels, and laser procedures.
• Draw blood safely for PRP, lab tests, or other approved treatments.
• Administer topical and local anaesthesia (within scope of practice and certification).
• Conduct detailed consultations, assess medical history, and recommend individualized treatment plans.
• Provide clients with pre- and post-treatment guidance to ensure safety and results.
• Maintain accurate medical and treatment records with confidentiality
• Deliver body treatments including massage therapy, body scrubs, hamams, and other wellness- focused therapies.
• Integrate spa and body treatments with clinical procedures where safe and appropriate.
• Ensure therapeutic treatments are evidence-based, safe, and tailored to each client’s needs.

Collaboration & Teamwork:

• Work closely with the Dermatologist for supervision and clinical escalation.
• Collaborate with aestheticians and spa therapists to coordinate combined treatment plans (e.g., injectables with wellness therapies).
• Provide clinical insights and contraindications for clients receiving spa or wellness treatments.
• Support team training and knowledge-sharing where appropriate.

Health & Safety:

• Deliver immediate first aid to staff or clients in the case of accidents or medical concerns.
• Maintain highest standards of infection control, sterilization, and clinical safety.
• Ensure treatment rooms and medical equipment meet health and safety regulations.
• Monitor and manage clinical supplies and pharmaceuticals, reporting needs to management.

Professional Development:

• Stay updated with the latest trends, technologies, and techniques in medical aesthetics and spa therapies.
• Participate in ongoing training, certifications, and in-house development programs.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid and current nursing license.
• Certification in medical aesthetics procedures (injectables, PRP, lasers, advanced skincare).
• Competency in phlebotomy (blood draws) and anesthesia administration.
• Minimum 1–2 years’ experience in aesthetics, dermatology, medical spa, or holistic spa setting.
• Experience or training in body therapies (massage, hamams, scrubs) preferred.

Salary

N150,000 - N200,000 monthly.
