DECISION EXTRACT ON CHANGE OF DATES FOR AMLSN CONFERENCE AND AGM

 In accordance with the Provisions of Association of Medical Laboratory Scientists of Nigeria (AMLSN) Constitution 2018 (As Amended), the National Executive Council (NEC) in her meetings held virtually on July 22 and August 14, 2023; in strict adherence to Article 12, section (c), subsection i where the NEC derives her power to fix dates for conference and AGM, reviewed the dates fixed for 2023 conference and AGM. 

The NEC observed that no AMLSN National Election should be held when there is National Election to offices by Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and such election(s) has a substantial proportion as is the case of gubernatorial elections slated to hold on 11, 2023 in 3 states of the Federation. 

It was therefore resolved that 2023 conference and AGM be held between November 17 and 19, 2023, at International Conference Center, Abuja; as against the dates earlier fixed for same.
