JOB TITLE: Client Relationship and Business Development Officer
LOCATION: Abuja, Nigeria (with national and international travel)

SALARY: 200,000 to 220,000

JOB SUMMARY
This dual function role sits at the centre of CML's Nigerian operations. As the Client Relationship and Business Development Officer, you will deliver exceptional service to existing clients while driving business growth through new partnerships and accounts.

You will coordinate cryogenic transport logistics and concierge services for clients across Nigeria and internationally, representing CML in one of our most important growth regions. You will also identify and engage new fertility clinics, hospitals, healthcare professionals, and individual clients, building strong relationships that support long term business development.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Act as the primary point of contact for CML's existing clients in Africa, ensuring exceptional service at every interaction
• Coordinate domestic and international cryogenic shipments and concierge bookings, liaising with clinics, couriers, and internal teams
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities across Nigeria and the wider African market
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clinic partners, referral networks, and key stakeholders
• Represent CML at industry events, clinic visits, and networking engagements
• Maintain accurate records of client interactions, shipment coordination, and business development activities
• Support the preparation of proposals, quotations, and partnership agreements
• Travel nationally and internationally at short notice for client meetings, partner engagements, or shipment accompaniment
• Provide regular feedback to management on market trends, client needs, and business opportunities

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare, business, life sciences, or a related field
• Two to four years of experience in a client facing, sales, business development, or coordination role
• Background or interest in healthcare, reproductive health, or the medical sector is an advantage
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; additional Nigerian languages are an asset
• Strong interpersonal skills and confidence engaging with clients, clinic directors, and medical professionals
• Highly organised, detail oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities
• Proactive, self motivated, and able to work independently
• Reliable high speed internet access and a suitable remote working setup
• Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally; a valid passport is required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, or similar tools
