Project Background: UNICEF Nigeria, in collaboration with the National Primary Health Care Development Agency (NPHCDA), is supporting the renewed hope agenda under the Nigerian Health Sector Renewal Investment Programme (NSRIP) to strengthen Primary Health Care (PHC) services. This initiative aligns with the Sector-Wide Approach (SwAp) to improve healthcare accessibility and quality in underserved areas.
The project includes rehabilitation and expansion of PHC facilities, encompassing structural innovations such as laboratories, boreholes, and solar power installations. Additionally, enhancements will support maternal health services including antenatal care and skilled birth attendance.
Scope of Work:
- Revitalization of 200 PHCs.
- Construction period estimated at six months.
- Enhancements include laboratories, boreholes & solar power installations.
- Reporting to Supply & Health – Country Office.
Eligibility Criteria: Compliance requirements include technical expertise in construction standards and previous experience in similar projects. Interested bidders will be required to submit proposals demonstrating their capacity to meet these criteria by providing information on past performance and technical capabilities.
