Job Title: Clinical Services Associate - Pediatrics & Adolescents

Job Description

  • The incumbent will provide support in developing and managing health programs that maximize development results and impact. S/he will provide the related to a functional adolescent program.

Key Performance Indicators

  • Annual retention rate of at least 95% for treatment current (Paediatrics & Adolescents)
  • Linkage rate of at least 95% (Paediatrics & Adolescents).
  • Viral load uptake of at least 95% of annual target (Paediatrics & Adolescents).
  • Viral suppression rate of at least 95% (Paediatrics & Adolescents)
  • At least 95 % uptake for eligible clients for differentiated care model (Paediatrics & Adolescents).
  • At least 95 % target achievement for Treatment new (Paediatrics & Adolescents)
  • Efficient case finding amongst Paediatrics & Adolescents (at least 6.0% positively yield) Optimized index testing among Paediatrics & Adolescents of at least 95% acceptance rate and at least 1:2 elicitation.

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills & Ability

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Medicine, Public Health or a related field; or a Master’s or equivalent in public health or related fields residency in internal medicine.
  • At least 3 years post NYSC experience in developing country health care programs or program support function.
  • Knowledge of the policies, regulations, reporting formats, and cultures of principal donors, including USAID, EC, DFID, CDC/PEPFAR, and others.
  • Experience in adolescent and young people care, paediatrics treatment and demonstrable skills to provide technical support for multidisciplinary HIV/AIDS care and treatment, working with organization clinicians and health facility-based site teams to implement care and treatment services especially in adult.
  • Experience of dealing with difficult and sensitive situations in a diplomatic and professional manner.
