COMMUINIQUE OF JOHESU/AHPA LEADERSHIP MEETING HELD ON THURSDAY, 16th DECEMBER, 2021 AT AYUBA WABBA HOUSE, DURUM' DISTRICT, AREA 1, ABUJA

Preamble

The meeting was attended by a preponderance of the five Unions under JOHESU and AHPA.

After exhaustive briefings and deliberations on the state of affairs in the health Sector with particular reference to the various welfare initiatives of JOHESU/AHPA, leadership resolved as follows:-

1.)JOHESU/AHPA strongly urged the Federal Government to pay withheld April and May 2018 salaries to its members before 31st December, 2021 in the spirit of the yuletide season as this will bring great relief to its members this festive season.

JOHESU/AHPA reasoned that, this gesture will encourage the rank and file of its members to measure the level of appreciation Government shows to its various sacrifices as collaborators to boost the interest of consumers of health in the nation.

2.) JOHESU/AHPA encourage Government to allow the implementation of the payment of Hazard Allowance commence as an integral part of the December, 2021 wages
