Job Title: Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Obstetrician & Gynaecologist to provide specialist care in obstetrics and gynaecology.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing complex cases, performing specialized procedures, and contributing to high standards of maternal and reproductive healthcare services within the hospital.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialist consultation and management for obstetric and gynaecological cases.
- Manage high-risk pregnancies and obstetric emergencies.
- Perform major and minor obstetric and gynaecological surgical procedures.
- Supervise and mentor junior medical staff and resident doctors where applicable.
- Ensure adherence to established clinical protocols and hospital quality standards.
- Participate in clinical audits, departmental meetings, and quality improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- MBBS or equivalent medical qualification from a recognized institution.
- Valid practicing license with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN).
- Minimum of 5 years post-NYSCclinical experience is an added advantage.
- Demonstrated competence in managing high-risk pregnancies and obstetric emergencies.
- Strong leadership, clinical, and patient management skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
