Sokoto foreign-based Medical Doctor, Sa’idu Alhassan Wurno has donated medical equipment worth N79 million to the state government. Hailed from Wurno LGA of the state, Sa’idu is an orthopedic and trauma consultant in Germany.
While handing over the equipment to the deputy Governor of the state, Engineer Idris Gobir on Wednesday, the doctor said the gesture was meant to complement the efforts of the state government in improving healthcare service delivery in the state.
According to him, the second batch of the equipment would soon arrive in the state.
Receiving the equipment, Gobir thanked him for the gesture, describing him as a true son of the state.
