Job Title: Dentist

Job Summary
This role involves performing dental procedures, managing patient records, and collaborating with other medical staff to provide comprehensive care.
Responsibilities
- Meet with patients to discuss dental concerns and establish treatment plans.
- Perform dental procedures such as extractions, root canals, and fillings.
- Correct bite issues and overcrowding.
- Apply agents such as sealants or whiteners to teeth.
- Prescribe medications for dental problems.
- Administer sedatives or anesthesia prior to treatments.
- Order diagnostic measures like x-rays and models.
- Use tools like drills, probes, brushes, and mirrors to examine and treat teeth and mouth.
- Maintain accurate patient records and treatment histories.
- Manage and communicate with other staff members to provide patient care.
- Educate patients on dental care and the importance of routine check-ups.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Liaise with other medical staff regarding patient medication issues and obtain the best medication therapy for patients.
Qualifications
- Doctorate of Dental Surgery or Dental Medicine
- Practicing License.
- Additional experience, certifications, or licensing may be required.
- Strong computer skills and experience with healthcare databases and applications.
- Willingness to comply with all local, state, and federal laws regarding dental and healthcare.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Comprehensive knowledge of dental procedures, tools, and diagnostics.
- Good management skills.
- 2 - 4 years of relevant work experience, preferably in a clinical or community setting.
- Membership in relevant professional bodies.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office package.
- Excellent analytical skills and scientific aptitude.
- Excellent interpersonal and people management skills.
