We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Domiciliary Nurse

Location: Warri, Delta

Employment Type: Full-time

 

Job Summary

  • We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Domiciliary Nurse to provide high-quality nursing care to patients in their homes.
  • The ideal candidate will ensure continuity of care, promote patient well-being, and deliver professional clinical support in line with established medical standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct nursing care to patients in their homes.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
  • Monitor, assess, and record patients’ health conditions.
  • Educate patients and family members on care plans, hygiene, and recovery management.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate and timely nursing documentation.
  • Uphold infection control and patient safety standards during home visits.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Registered Nurse (RN) or equivalent nursing qualification.
  • Valid practicing nursing license
  • Minimum of 1–2 years of post-qualification clinical experience (community or home-based care experience is an advantage).
  • Excellent clinical assessment and communication skills.
  • Compassionate, patient-centered approach with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
