Applications are invited from suitably qualified medical doctors for the following posts in the hospital: 

A. CONSULTANTS IN THE FOLLOWING CLINICAL DEPARTMENTS: 

i. Family Medicine 

ii. Internal Medicine: 

(a) Respiratory Physicians 

iii. Obstetrics and Gynaecology 

iv. Paediatrics 

v. Psychiatry 

vi. Radiology 

vii. Surgery: 

(a) Anaesthesia 

(b) Cardiothoracic 

(c) General Surgery 

(d) Neurosurgery 

(e) Ophthalmology 

(f) Paediatric Surgery 

(g) Plastic Surgery

QUALIFICATIONS: 

Candidates must be fellows of the National Postgraduate Medical College or the West African Postgraduate Medical College. Possession of both fellowships is an advantage. 

B. RESIDENT DOCTORS IN THE FOLLOWING CLINICAL DEPARTMENTS 

i. Community Medicine 

ii. Family Medicine 

iii. Internal Medicine 

iv. Obstetrics and Gynaecology 

v. Paediatrics 

vi. Psychiatry 

vii. Radiology viii. Surgery 

QUALIFICATIONS: 

Candidates must be registered medical practitioners with current practicing license issued by the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria. 

Candidates must also have passed the primary fellowship examinations of either the National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria or the West African Postgraduate Medical College in their respective clinical departments. In addition to submitting the NYSC discharge/exemption certificates, candidates should also tender evidence of current indemnity medical insurance. Candidates should as well enclose three (3) referee reports, one of which should be at least a senior lecturer at the medical school they previously attended.
