RE: INVITATION TO A STAKEHOLDERS MEETING ON CIRCULAR ON CONSULTANT PHARMACISTS CADRE AND ITS IMPLEMENTATION IN FEDERAL TERTIARY HOSPITALS

You may wish to recall the recent approval of Pharmacist Consultant Cadre by the National Council on Health (NCH) and the Office of the Head of Civil Service of the Federation (OHCSF) Circular on the subject matter. 

In order to ensure uniform interpretation and forestall any industrial disharmony that may emanate from wrong interpretation of the Circular, I am directed to invite you to a meeting with officials of the Federal Ministry of Health to discuss the implementation strategy of the Circular on Pharmacist Consultant Cadre in Federal Tertiary Hospitals in order to have a uniform application and to avoid contentions. The meeting is scheduled as follows: 

Date:     Thursday, 10th June, 2021;

Time:    10am prompt;

Venue: Ibom Icon Hotel and Resort, Nwaniba Road, Uyo, Akwa Ibom State. 

It is the hope of the Ministry that you will all honour this invitation and attend personally. 

The financial implication of the meeting will be borne by the Committee of CMDs/MDs.
