RE: INVITATION TO A MEETING WITH THE HONOURABLE MINISTER, FEDERAL MINISTRY OF HEALTH ON NOTIE OF FIFTEEN DAYS ULTIMATUM AND COMMENCEMENT OF AN INDEFINITE STRIKE ACTION BY THE JOINT HEALTH SECTOR UNIONS (JOHESU) AND ASSEMBLY OF HEALTH CARE PROFESSIONAL ASSOCIATIONS (AHPA)

Following the meeting of the Federal Ministry of Health (FMoH with the leadership of the Joint I leant) Sector Unions (JOHESU) and Assembly of Health Care Professional Associations (AIIPA), held on Tuesday, 14th September, 2021, it was resolved that the Federal Ministry of Health should renegotiate the under listed issues with JOHESU with other stakeholder MDAs: 

i. Adjustment of Consolidated Health Salary Structure (CONHESS) as was done with Consolidated Medical Salary Structure (CONMESS) since 2014; 

ii. Payment of all withheld April and May 2018 Salaries of JOHESU Members and withheld salaries in FMC Owcrri, JUTH, LUTH; 

iii. Payment of 'Skipping' and Promotion arrears as well as implementation of CONIIESS at the lvIDCN; iv. Payment of Teaching Allowance to Nurses on CONHESS 7 and 8; 

v. Proper placement of Graduate Nurses and Interns; 

vi. Payment of outstanding salaries of Intern Health Professionals in all FTHs; 

vii. Proper placement of the Consultant Pharmacists Cadre for pharmacists in the public Sector. 

2. In view of the foregoing, I am directed' to invite you to a meeting to resolve the above staled outstanding issues, which are considered outside the purview of the Federal Ministry of Health. 

3. The meeting is scheduled as follows:

Venue: Honourable Minister’s Conference Room, 1st Floor, Federal Ministry of Health, Abuja.
