Job Title: Female Registered Midwife

Location: Magodo Phase II, Lagos

Employment Type: Full-time

 

Job Description

As a Registered Nurse and Midwife, you will be responsible for providing both maternal and general nursing care to patients.

You are expected to work independently while actively contributing to team goals.

Key responsibilities include monitoring patient health, supporting labor and delivery, offering patient education, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, including medication administration, wound care, and IV therapy.
• Monitor patients’ vital signs, symptoms, and responses to treatment, and communicate any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
• Provide antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care to patients.
• Monitor the condition and progress of pregnant women during labor and delivery.
• Assist physicians and other healthcare providers with procedures and treatments, and advocate for patients’ needs and preferences.
• Document patient care activities, nursing assessments, and interventions accurately and timely in medical records and nursing documentation systems.
• Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team, including physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals, to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess RM qualifications with a minimum of 1 relevant work experience
• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of nursing principles, practices, and procedures.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to multi-task
