Job Title: Female Registered Nurse

Location: Magodo Phase 2, Lagos

Description

• Our client is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Female Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team.
• The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care, promote health education, and ensure adherence to medical protocols.

 

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Clinical Coordinator to establish effective systems for delivering patient-centered care with compassion, dignity, and respect, resulting in positive health outcomes
• Administration of medications to patients according to the Doctor's prescription.
• Monitoring of labor cases and documentation of post & and delivery operative notes.
• Setting of Intramuscular and intravenous infusion (when the need arises).
• Perform wound care and assist physicians during procedures.
• Ensure the highest standard of evidence-based nursing care is delivered to all patients and their families.
• Act in accordance with the Nursing & Midwifery Council Code Standards of Conduct, performance and ethics for nurses.
• Record patient treatment plan, interventions, outcomes and plan revisions
• Monitor and document symptoms and changes in patients’ conditions promptly and notifying the medical officer of any development swiftly.
• Ensure proper storage of equipment and devices properly after use
• Accurate documentation of patient's medical information and vital signs.
• Monitoring and following-up with the house-keeper ensuring the theatre is clean and tidy before and after procedure or surgery.
• Ability to operate the patient monitor effectively monitoring the following parameters adequately ECG, Body Temperature, Oxygen saturation.
• Ensure the wards comply with all health and safety requirements.
• Develop collaborative and cooperative relationships with other healthcare professionals, and participate in professional and managerial meetings, liaising as appropriate.

 

Requirements

• Must be a Registered Nurse with 2-3 years of experience.
• Must have a valid practising license
• Candidate must reside in Lagos; proximity to Magodo Phase 2 is an advantage
• Have good communication skills.
• Practical knowledge of immunisation is an advantage

Salary

• N150,000 / Month.
