Job Description

Lily College of Nursing Sciences is seeking an experienced and visionary Head of Department (HOD), Midwifery to provide academic and administrative leadership for the Midwifery Department.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, implementation, and evaluation of the midwifery curriculum.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to faculty and administrative staff.
• Promote evidence-based and innovative teaching methodologies.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements.
• Foster a collaborative environment that drives professional and student growth.

Requirements

• Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing Sciences.
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in midwifery education or clinical practice, with at least 2 years in leadership.
• PGD in Education is required.
• Proven experience in curriculum development, program evaluation, and faculty development.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
