Job Description

• We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Health Analyst (Writer/Journalist) to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research and analysis on the health sector, including trends, policies, and economic impacts.
• Prepare comprehensive reports and articles on health-related topics that influence financial decisions.
• Collaborate with our editorial team to create content that educates our audience on health economics, healthcare investment, and related topics.
• Monitor global and local health news, policy changes, and industry developments to identify and report on emerging trends.
• Provide data-driven insights and forecasts on the health sector to support Nairametrics’ financial analysis and content creation.
• Assist in developing strategies for expanding Nairametrics’ coverage in the health sector.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Mass Communication or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in health analysis, health economics, or a related role.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex health data and trends.
• Familiarity with health policies, regulations, and the economic aspects of the health sector.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and software is a plus.
