Job Title: Intern Pharmacist

Locations Lekki – Ikate, Lagos

Employment Type: Full-time

Working Hours: (Shift-based, including weekends and public holidays)

 

Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and responsible Intern Pharmacist to join our pharmacy team in Lekki (Ikate).

The role offers an excellent opportunity for hands-on training and exposure to all aspects of community pharmacy practice under the supervision of a registered pharmacist.

The successful candidate will assist in dispensing medications, counseling patients, managing inventory, and ensuring compliance with pharmaceutical standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the supervising pharmacist in dispensing prescription and non-prescription medications.
• Counsel patients on medication usage and possible side effects under supervision.
• Ensure accurate labeling, arrangement, and proper storage of medicines.
• Help monitor stock levels, manage expiries, and support daily inventory checks.
• Maintain proper documentation of prescriptions and patient medication records.
• Participate in customer service and patient education activities.
• Adhere to all regulatory, ethical, and professional pharmacy standards.
• Support other day-to-day pharmacy operations as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D) degree.
• Provisional license from the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria (PCN).
• Must have completed or be awaiting NYSC.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Eagerness to learn and grow in a professional pharmacy environment.
• Good attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Must reside within or around the Lekki/Ikate axis.

Salary

• Attractive monthly allowance based on industry standards.
