The Jigawa State Ministry of Health invites applications from qualified candidates for appointment into the State Civil Service as Medical Officers under the following guidelines:

Eligibility Requirements

• a) Applicants must hold an MBBS degree from an NMDC-accredited medical school
• b) Must provide evidence of a valid and current practicing licence issued by the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria  
• c) Must have completed NYSC or present a valid certificate of exemption
• d) Applications are open to all Nigerian citizens, from any state of the federation

Application Procedure

Interested candidates should upload the following documents to the official recruitment portal at http://www.moh.jg.gov.ng

• - Curriculum Vitae (CV)  
• - Medical degree certificate  
• - NYSC discharge or exemption certificate  
• - Current practicing licence  

Application Deadline:

All applications must be submitted on or before July 17, 2025

Interview and Offer Timeline:

Shortlisted applicants will be contacted for interviews within one week of the application deadline. Offers of appointment will be made immediately following successful interviews.
