Job Title: Junior Registrar, Radiology

Location: Benin City

Employment Type: Full-time

 

Job Summary

The role is responsible for providing high quality clinical radiological service that supports the diagnosis and treatment of patients in the hospital.

Employee’s Duties & Responsibilities

• Undertake and report on radiological diagnostic and intervenious procedures where appropriate under supervision.
• Provide expert advice to referring clinicians on the most appropriate diagnostic investigation.
• Support other radiology staff in the radiological process.
• Contribute to quality patient-care by participating in case planning with other members of the patient medical team.
• To help with surgical procedures and out-paent clinics as directed by the Senior Registrar and/or Consultant to which assigned.
• To be “on-call” or participate in shift rosters is a requirement of the position.

Essential Qualifications & Skills

• The job holder must have a license to practice medicine from the Medical and DentalCouncil of Nigeria and should havePrimariesinRadiology(NPMCNorWACS)
• Proven work experience of 1-2 years cognate experience as a Radiologist or similar role
• The job holder must have good communication skills, a strong ability to remain calm instressful situations, self-discipline and excellent long-term concentration.
