We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Laboratory Technician

Location: Abuja (FCT)

Employment Type: Full-time

 

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Collect, label, and prepare patient samples for analysis.
• Conduct routine and specialized laboratory tests following SOPs.
• Operate, clean, and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment.
• Record, analyze, and report accurate test results.
• Ensure quality control and calibration of laboratory equipment.
• Maintain laboratory records and safeguard patient confidentiality.
• Adhere to biosafety and infection control protocols.
• Assist in training interns or junior staff when required.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized laboratory environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Medical Laboratory Science/Technology or related field.
• Registration with Medical Laboratory Science Council (as applicable).
• Prior experience in a diagnostic or clinical laboratory is an advantage.

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of laboratory techniques and equipment.
• High accuracy and attention to detail.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to follow safety and quality assurance procedures.
