The attention of the Chief Medical Director of the Lagos University Teaching Hospital, Idi-Araba has been drawn to certain LinkedIn and Facebook accounts claiming to be Prof Chris Bode, CMD of LUTH, trying to be familiar with people online, then offering them fraudulent schemes such as job placement or procurement in LUTH. Neither the Chief Medical Director's Linkedln nor Facebook account was compromised. Rather, the con artist created parallel accounts using his name and pictures obtained online along with strange telephone numbers to carry out the dastardly activities. 

The Chief Medical Director would like to state unequivocally that the Linkedln and Facebook profiles, along with the various telephone numbers are fake and do not belong to him. These fake accounts have been reported to the various platforms for immediate deactivation. 

Members of the public should please avoid having any dealings with this fraudulent individual. If in doubt, please contact LUTH Management in person. Furthermore nobody should fall victim to this fraudster by giving money. The CMD and LUTH Management shall not be liable for any fraudulent activity committed by the individual. This criminal act has been reported to the appropriate security agencies.
