Job Title: Locum Nurse

Location: Galadimawa, Abuja (FCT)

Employment Type: Part-time

 

Job Summary

In-Country Medicare Limited is inviting applications from qualified and competent nurses for the position of Locum Nurse to provide temporary clinical coverage as required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide safe, patient-centered nursing care in line with established clinical standards
  • Conduct patient assessments and document findings accurately
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
  • Maintain infection prevention and control protocols
  • Support emergency response and clinical procedures when required
  • Ensure accurate documentation and handover reporting
  • Collaborate effectively with the multidisciplinary healthcare team
  • Uphold professional ethics, confidentiality, and patient dignity.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Nursing Science (BNSc) or equivalent qualification
  • Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN)
  • Valid and current practicing license (mandatory)
  • Minimum of 2–3 years clinical experience
  • Strong clinical skills and professional judgment
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt quickly and work efficiently in a dynamic healthcare environment.
