Attention to all Medical and Dental Practitioners seeking housemanship opportunities!

We are pleased to inform you that vacancies for housemanship placements in federal institutions will be updated on the MDCN portal on Thursday, 24th April 2025. All interested applicants intending to serve in federal hospitals are encouraged to check the portal for available slots.

REGISTRATION ON MDCN HOUSEMANSHIP PORTAL  

Please be advised that upon the receipt of your provisional registration certificate during the induction ceremony, you must create your profile on the Housemanship portal: [www.housemanship.mdcn.gov.ng](http://www.housemanship.mdcn.gov.ng). This grants access to apply for housemanship positions at any of the 45 Federal training institutions nationwide, under MDCN management.

Applicants are strictly warned not to contact or send application letters to Federal institutions or MDCN, either personally or through proxies (including parents). Such actions contravene the Centralized Housemanship Placement System and may lead to denial of access to the portal.

 

Important Notes:

- This update applies to the 45 approved federal hospitals only.

- Each hospital has a fixed number of training slots.

- If your preferred hospital is not listed, it means there are no available slots.

- There are 70 non-federal hospitals also offering placements—interested applicants may  contact them directly for opportunities.
