The Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria (MLSCN) has issued a disclaimer regarding a publication in the Nigerian Medlab Scientist titled "2025 MLSCN License Payment Deadline & How to Renew."  

MLSCN has clarified that it did not authorize the publication and has no business connection with the author. The Council emphasizes that licensure remains within its statutory mandate and that it has not delegated the responsibility of publishing payment details to any individual or organization.  

Stakeholders are advised to rely only on official MLSCN channels, including the MLSCN website (www.mlscn.gov.ng) and its social media handles, for accurate information regarding payment procedures, deadlines, and fines for late renewal.

MLSCN warns that anyone transacting business with the author regarding payments to the Council does so at their own risk.
