Job Title: Male Midwife

Location: Osapa London, Lagos

Employment Type: Full-time

 

Job Description

• A midwife is a trained healthcare professional specializing in pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum care, and women's reproductive health.
• They provide medical and emotional support to expectant mothers before, during, and after labor, ensuring the health and safety of both mother and baby.

 

Responsibilities

• Antenatal Care.
• Labor and Delivery.
• Assist with natural childbirth and pain management techniques.
• Monitor vital signs of both mother and baby.
• Provide emergency interventions if complications arise.
• Support mothers in making informed decisions about birthing options.

 

Requirements

• Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree with 1 - 2 years of experience
• The Candidate should be ready to resume immediately.
• Monitor patient’s condition and assess their needs to provide the best possible care and advice
• Observe and interpret patient’s symptoms and communicate them to physicians
• Perform routine procedures (blood pressure measurements, administering injections, etc.) and fill in patients’ charts
• Adjust and administer patient’s medication and provide treatments according to physician’s orders.Provide instant medical care in emergencies.
• Assist surgeons during operations.
• Accomodation will be provided.
