Job Title: Medic (Nurse)

Location: Lagos

Description

  • The Medic (Nurse) is responsible for providing primary healthcare services, emergency medical response, and occupational health support to employees.
  • The role ensures the health and well-being of staff through preventive care, treatment of minor illnesses/injuries, and compliance with workplace health and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide first aid and emergency medical care to employees and visitors
  • Assess and treat minor illnesses and injuries within scope of practice
  • Stabilize patients and coordinate referrals to hospitals/clinics when necessary
  • Maintain and manage the clinic/medical facility and equipment
  • Keep accurate and confidential medical records and reports
  • Monitor employee health and support fitness-for-work assessments
  • Administer prescribed medications and treatments
  • Support occupational health programs (e.g., vaccinations, health screenings)
  • Participate in health education and awareness campaigns
  • Ensure compliance with HSE policies and medical protocols
  • Conduct routine checks on first aid kits and emergency response equipment
  • Assist in incident/accident investigations from a medical perspective
  • Provide standby medical support during operations or field activities.
