The management of National Ear Care Centre Kaduna hereby invites applications from interested and suitably qualified candidates to fill the vacant position of the Medical Director.

Job Title: Medical Director/CEO

Requirements:

Interested Candidates must have the following qualification

1. Candidate must be a Medical or Dental Practitioner registered with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN) with not less than Twelve (12) MDCN.
2. Candidate must possess a current practicing license from MDCN
3. Candidate must be a fellow of either the National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria or West African Postgraduate Medical College or equivalent, recognised by the MDCN
4. Candidate must have been an Ear Nose and Throat (ENT) Consultant for a minimum of Five (5) years.
5. Candidate must be medically fit (attach evidence)  
6. Candidate must be of proven good character and integrity
7. Evidence of Medical Researches is an added advantages
8. Administrative qualification and experience are added advantages
9. Knowledge of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) is an added advantage
10. Attraction of funded grants by individual candidate is an added advantage.

 

Responsibilities:

I. The Medical Director is the Head/Chief Executive of the Institution. He is accountable to the Board of Management and Honourable Minister of State for Health & Social Welfare.

II. The Medical Director is charged with the responsibility of the execution of policies and matters affecting the day to day management of the hospital.

 

Salary and Allowance:

• Salary and Allowance will be in accordance with the Public Service Salary Structure for this category of Officer.

• The candidate should enclose his/her Vision Statement for the next four (4) years in not more than 1000 words.
• The Curriculum Vitae must include the names and addresses of Three (3) referees, one of whom must be a Senior Medical or Dental practitioner of NOT LESS than Twenty (20) years post qualification experience and who should be in a position to attest to the candidate's academic, professional and managerial abilities as well as moral character and uprightness.
