Job Title: Medical Doctor (Male)

Location: Lagos

Job Overview

• A Medical Doctor is a healthcare professional who is responsible for diagnosing, treating, and managing patients' health conditions. They work in medical facilities such as hospitals, clinics, and private practices.
• The work of a Medical Doctor may involve long and irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Conducting physical examinations and medical histories of patients
• Diagnosing medical conditions and illnesses
• Prescribing and administering treatments, medications, and other therapies
• Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests and procedures
• Referring patients to specialists when necessary
• Monitoring patients' health conditions and progress
• Counseling and advising patients on healthcare and lifestyle choices
• Maintaining accurate and complete medical records
• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care

Requirements

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) Degree from an accredited Medical School
• Licensure to practice medicine in the state of employment
• Completion of a residency program in a relevant medical field
• Board certification in a relevant medical specialty
• Excellent knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to work effectively in a team environment
• Ability to work under pressure and handle emergencies
• Attention to detail and ability to make sound medical decisions
