Job Description

  • We are seeking a dedicated, compassionate, and highly skilled Medical Doctor to join our growing healthcare team at our facility located on Fodasis Road, Opp. New Adeoyo Hospital, Fodasis, Ibadan, Oyo State.
  • The successful candidate will provide comprehensive medical care to patients, diagnose and manage illnesses, coordinate treatment plans, and contribute to the delivery of exceptional healthcare services.
  • This is a full-time position requiring commitment, professionalism, and a passion for patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

  • Examine, diagnose, and treat patients presenting with acute and chronic medical conditions.
  • Prescribe medications and develop appropriate treatment plans.
  • Respond promptly to medical emergencies and provide emergency care when required.
  • Admit, review, and manage inpatients.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient medical records.
  • Request, interpret, and evaluate laboratory and diagnostic test results.
  • Refer patients to specialists when necessary.
  • Educate patients and their families on disease prevention and healthy lifestyle practices.
  • Collaborate effectively with nurses, laboratory scientists, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in clinical meetings, quality improvement initiatives, and continuous professional development.

Requirements

Education:

  • Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS or equivalent).
  • Current practicing license issued by the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN).
  • NYSC completed or exemption certificate.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 4 years post-NYSC clinical experience in a reputable hospital.
  • Experience in emergency medicine, inpatient management, and outpatient care is highly desirable.

Required Skills:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to make sound clinical decisions under pressure.

  • Competitive salary (N300,000 - N350,000 / Month) based on qualifications and experience.
