Medical Officer

Responsibilities:

• To provide a continuous on-site medical support to meet the needs of patients. This includes emergency procedures and routine medical services in all clinical areas. The medical officer will work on a shift basis, and will be provided a call room in the hospital premises. He/she will report to the chief medical officer (CMO). He/she will carry out any other duties assigned by CMO from time to time.
• Patient care
• Pre- and post-op care
• Demonstration of high-level skill with interpersonal relationships and communications.
• Excellent interpersonal and management skills. 
• Good diagnostic acumen and sound knowledge of evidence-based medical practice. 
• Strong services philosophy and leadership skills. 
• Coordinate regular health management audits in liaison with the quality management team so as to maintain the standard of healthcare

Qualifications and Experience: MBBS with valid registration with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCAN). Surgical skills in Obstetrics and Gynecology will be an added advantage. 

Candidate should normally be resident in, or be willing to relocate to Enugu state, Nigeria.
