Kingsfield Diagnostics Services, a Diagnostics / Healthcare service firm is recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Medical Laboratory Scientist

Location: Lagos

Employment Type: Part-time

Responsibilities

• Perform quality control, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting protocols to ensure proper functioning of instruments, reagents and procedures
• Implementation of policies and tasks specified by laboratory director
• Maintaining laboratory safety at all times by wearing proper protective wears.
• Maintaining a sterile laboratory environment to avoid any cross contamination of specimens on samples
• Maintaining laboratory logs to track samples and specimens
• Process blood samples and specimens utilizing protocols and technical knowledge
• Ensure the quality and testing of blood for transfusion and cross-matching blood for transfusion
• Daily checking of key laboratory indicators including calibration process of laboratory equipment’s and machines.

Essential Requirements

• Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Science Degree (BMLS)
• Must be registered with the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria
• Must have a current practicing Licence
• Minimum 1+ years working experience
• Must be accountable for the quality and integrity of laboratory Services.
