Medical Laboratory Scientist & Technician Vacancies at Eastern & Western Hospital

Eastern & Western Hospital located at Jabi Abuja. We offer services such as general medicine, alternative medicine, Laboratory test, ultrasound scan, X-ray.

We are recruiting to fill the positions below:

1. Medical Lab Scientist-Chemistry specialty
2. Lab technician

1. For Lab scientist:

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Collect blood or tissue samples from patients, observing principles of asepsis to obtain blood sample.
• Perform all tasks, duties and tests related to laboratory services
• Validate and report results of tests performed. Able to meet turnaround time to deliver the report.
• Perform quality control, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting protocols to ensure proper functioning of instruments, reagents, procedures, etc.
• Research and develop new procedures as required by the situation.

Important requirement: 

• Aptitude for biology and chemistry.
• Able to use Semi-automated Chemistry analyzer, fully-automated Chemistry analyzer, microbiology equipment such as incubator, microscope.
• Good experience in malaria microscopy test.
• At least 3 years working experience.
• Min qualification: Bachelor's Degree/HND
• Must be registered with current practicing license.

2. For Lab Technician:

Assist the Lab scientist in his/her duties.
