Daughters of Charity of St. Vincent de Paul Hospital is a faith-based hospital located in Kubwa, Abuja. We are dedicated to providing high-quality healthcare services, particularly aimed at addressing the health needs of the community, especially in rural areas. Our facility strives to bridge the gap between formal public health services and community health requirements, offering a range of general health and medical services.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Medical Laboratory Scientist

Location: Kubwa, Abuja (FCT)  

Employment Type: Full-time

 

Responsibilities

• To perform routine and specialized laboratory tests.
• Analyze samples and interpret results.
• Ensure proper maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
• Maintain accurate records and reports of test findings.
• Adhere to standard laboratory protocols and safety regulations.
• Ensure confidentiality of test results and findings
• Collaborate with medical professionals for accurate diagnosis.

Requirements

• Candidate must possess a certified BMLS Degree from a recognized institution.
• Current practicing license from the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria (MLSCN).
• Work Experience: Minimum of 1 - 2 years of working experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Computer skills: Candidate must have good knowledge of computer
• Registration: The ideal candidate must be a member of the relevant professional body.
• Candidates must reside within Kubwa or its immediate environs in Abuja FCT.
