About the Job

• The Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) is a healthcare professional responsible for conducting laboratory tests and analyses to aid in the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of diseases.
• MLSs work in clinical laboratories, hospitals, research institutions, and other healthcare settings, using advanced technology and techniques to analyze blood, urine, tissue, and other bodily fluids.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct laboratory tests and analyses
• Operate laboratory equipment
• Analyze and interpret test results
• Develop and implement laboratory protocols
• Maintain laboratory quality control and quality assurance
• Collaborate with healthcare teams
• Stay current with laboratory advancements
• Maintain patient confidentiality and data integrity
• Supervise and train laboratory personnel
• Participate in laboratory management

Education and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science (MLS) or a related field.
• Certification as a Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS)
• Licensure or registration as required by state or national regulations.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Skills and Knowledge:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
