Job Title: Medical Laboratory Scientist

Location: Chevron, Lagos

Employment Type: Full-time

 

Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified Medical Laboratory Scientist to conduct accurate clinical laboratory testing, support patient diagnosis and treatment, and maintain high standards of laboratory quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine and specialized laboratory tests on blood, tissues, and body fluids using standard procedures
  • Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment while monitoring quality control measures
  • Ensure proper specimen handling, documentation, and reporting of test results
  • Maintain a sterile laboratory environment and comply with safety, quality, and regulatory standards
  • Support blood grouping, compatibility testing, and identification of infectious agents
  • Manage laboratory inventory, prepare routine reports, and maintain confidentiality of patient information

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Laboratory Science (BMLS)
  • Registration and a valid practicing license with the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria
  • Minimum of one year of experience in a similar role.
  • Strong documentation, quality management, and laboratory data management skills
  • Attention to detail, accountability, and the ability to work effectively in a team.

Salary

N240,000 - N300,000 / month.
