Daughters of Charity of St. Vincent de Paul Hospital is a faith based hospital located in Kubwa, Abuja that provides high quality healthcare services to patients. The aim of establishing this facility is to bridge the gap between the formal public health services and the health needs of the people especially those in rural areas. We offer general health and medical services.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Medical Laboratory Technician

Location: Kubwa, Abuja (FCT)

Employment Type: Full-time

 

Responsibilities

• Taking samples.
• Performing laboratory exams (serology, hematology, biochemistry, bacteriology, or parasitological).
• Ensuring proper reporting and registration of the sample results.
• Ensuring confidentiality.
• Taking care of, managing, and efficiently organizing the laboratory material/equipment.
• Performing cleaning and minor maintenance of biomedical equipment used.
• Applying hygiene and safety protocols, including daily cleaning/maintenance, sterilization.
• Ensuring proper sample waste disposal.
• Ensure proper maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
• Maintain accurate records and reports of test findings.

Requirements

• Candidate must possess a the required laboratory technician certificate.
• Current practicing license.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving and communication skills.
• Work Experience: Minimum of 1 to 2 years of working experience.
• Computer skills: Candidate must have good knowledge of computer
• Registration: The ideal candidate must be a member of the professional body.
• Candidates MUST reside within Kubwa, Abuja FCT.
