Job Title: Medical Officer (Post NYSC)  

Location: Onitsha, Anambra  

The Role  

• We are seeking a sharp, proactive Post NYSC Medical Officer to manage outpatients, oversee wards, handle emergencies, and assist in the operating theatre. 
• You will be the clinical backbone of the hospital during your shifts. 

Key Responsibilities  

• Conduct general outpatient consultations and daily inpatient ward rounds. 
• Stabilize and manage acute medical, paediatric, and OB/GYN emergencies. 
• Perform minor procedures (suturing, I and D) and first assist in major surgeries. 
• Handle EMR documentation and HMO pre authorizations accurately. 
• Escalate complex cases to consultants efficiently. 

Requirements

• MBBS with full MDCN registration and current practicing license. 
• NYSC Discharge Certificate or Exemption Letter. 
• Competence in emergency stabilization and basic surgical skills. 
• Strong communication skills and a professional demeanour under pressure. 
• BLS/ACLS certification is an advantage.
