Syx-Brij Nigeria Limited – Our client, Bergstein Hospital, Ikorodu, is the flagship facility of Bergstein Health Systems. They are building a structured, standards-driven healthcare institution grounded in clinical excellence, accountability, and operational discipline.

They are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Medical Officer

Location: Ikorodu, Lagos

Employment Type: Full-time

 

Job Summary

The Medical Officer will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care to patients, supporting clinical operations, and ensuring adherence to established medical standards and protocols.

The ideal candidate must demonstrate strong clinical skills, professionalism, and a commitment to excellent patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Examine, diagnose, and treat patients presenting with various medical conditions
• Provide general medical consultations and manage outpatient and inpatient care
• Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic tests
• Prescribe appropriate medications and treatment plans
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments when necessary
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records
• Respond to medical emergencies promptly and effectively
• Collaborate with specialists, nurses, laboratory scientists, and other healthcare professionals
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, clinical protocols, and ethical standards
• Participate in clinical meetings, case reviews, and continuous medical education

Requirements and Qualifications

Mandatory Requirements:

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree from a recognized institution
• Valid practicing license with the Medical and Dental Council
• Completion of NYSC or exemption certificate
• 2–3 years post-NYSC clinical experience
• Strong clinical and diagnostic skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in a private hospital setting
• Additional certifications such as ACLS, BLS, or related clinical training
• Strong teamwork and leadership abilities.

What We Offer

• Salary: N450,000 – N550,000 per month (gross) for 2-3 years of Experience
• Salary: N550,000 – N650,000 per month (gross) for over 5 years of Experience
