Demyhealth Clinic and Genomic Medicine (DCGM) is the pioneering Genomic medicine services in Nigeria in partnership with a UK based ISO certified bioscience laboratory in delivering over 5000 tests in Nigeria, including test not currently offered by any lab in Nigeria. We specialize in Invitro-diagnostics, in addition we also service Life science industries such as Pharmaceutical, Veterinary, food & beverage industries via our subsidiary company GTL.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Medical Officer

Location: Abuja

Employment Type: Full Time

Schedule: 9am to 5 pm (Monday to Friday); 10am to 3pm (in alternate Saturdays)

Job Description  

• Provide clinical consultation, treatment plan, medical procedure, post treatment advises and followup to clients.
• Provide ultrasound services to patients
• Maintain a sound knowledge of laboratory investigations.
• Assist in medical presentations.
• Assist in writing professional contents for media.
• Maintain a cordial working relationship with all staff.
• Advise patient’s when required by the organization on the test to run.  
• Provide basic medical procedures such as ECG, Ultrasound etc.
• Familiarize him/herself with the existing SOP and quality documents existing in the organization.
• Answer questions to provide additional information or clarification to patients or, other healthcare professionals.
• Keep records and reports on consultations according to established procedures.
• Practice safety, environmental, and/or infection control methods.  
• Educate clients on all forms of tests that they may not be aware of.  
• Maintain doctor- patients’ confidentiality by keeping patient’s information confidential.
• Participate, learn and re-learn Medical and Laboratory quality management system inline with international best practices.
• Ensure organization maintain safety standards; from per-analytical to post-analytical processes.  
• Familiarize yourself with the various of tests, products, and services offered by the organization.
• Resolve product or service problems as reported by client’s and patients.  
• Endeavor to involve superiors to answer new queries which are complicated.
• Always greet and receive patients cheerfully and politely.
• Establish causes and proffer solutions to all patient related challenges in a professional manner.  
• Attract potential clients by answering all service and product questions in the friendliest way possible.
• Contribute and maintain a safe work environment for patients, visitors, and co-workers by participating in safety programs, committees, or teams, conducting laboratory safety audits, and complying with statutory regulations & requirements.
• Identify customers’ needs and make suggestions to management.  
• Be wiling to be guided on how to assist the organization achieve ISO accreditation.
• Build sustainable relationships and trust between the company and its patients and customers.  
• Keep, maintain and update the company's patient database.

Key Requirements

• Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree with 2 - 5 years relevant work experience.
• The Key skill requirement for this job is divided into two major components:
• Clinical consultation and Ultrasound  
• Medical Laboratory quality management system (QMS) inline with international best practices.

Remuneration

• Salary: N200,000 - N250,000 Monthly.
• Employed candidate will be entitled to a fully serviced (apartment) provided at Katampe extension.
