We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Medical Sonographer

Location: Sagamu, Makun - Ogun

Employment Type: Full-time

 

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of diagnostic ultrasound examinations on patients, including abdominal, obstetrical, gynaecological, vascular, and other speciality areas as needed.
• Capture high-quality ultrasound images using advanced ultrasound equipment.
• Document patient history, examination findings, and technical parameters.
• Maintain a sterile and safe examination environment.
• Ensure patient comfort and privacy during procedures.
• Collaborate with referring physicians to provide accurate and timely interpretations of ultrasound results.
• Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with the latest advancements in ultrasound technology.
• Maintain and ensure proper functioning of ultrasound equipment.
• May participate in quality assurance activities.

 

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Sonography or related field
• Experience working in a diagnostic imaging setting is a plus
• Radiology skills
• Certifications
• Vascular imaging expertise
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in medical record documentation.
• Computer literacy, including familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.

 

Salary

• N180,000 - N250,000 per month.
