Dear Sir,

ILLEGAL AND FRAUDULENT DEDUCTION FROM NURSES AND MIDWIVES SALARIES.

I write on behalf of the Nurses and Midwives of Nigeria at all level of Government to inform you and your office about a deduction from our member's salaries without the knowledge of the professional cum trade union organization of Nurses and Midwives. Information available reveals that unauthorized people who are not members or officials of National Association of Nigeria Nurses and Midwives (NANNM) had fraudulently directed the deductions.

We wish to state categorically that NANNM was not consulted and we are not aware of such nefarious act and therefore not a party to it.

Consequently, the Association is hereby declaring this action as illegal and fraudulent and therefore disassociates itself entirely from this act. The Association wishes to appeal to the Accountant General to stop the process at any stage to avoid unpleasant consequences from the members.
