NATIONAL ORTHOPAEDIC HOSPITAL'S DIRECTOR PROMISES QUALITY SERVICE.

The new Medical Director of the National Orthopaedic Hospital, Benin, Edo State, Dr Philip Ugbodaga, on Monday, assured Nigerians of quality service as soon as the facility is fully operational.

Ugbodaga also commended President Bola Tinubu for his confirmation as the substantive boss of the hospital.

Speaking to journalists in Benin on Monday, shortly after assuming office, Ugbodaga, a Consultant Maxillofacial Surgeon and former Chairman of the Nigerian Medical Association, Edo State, expressed satisfaction with the establishment of the hospital in the South-South.

He said, “When fully operational, I am very hopeful that the hospital will guarantee access to specialist quality healthcare services by the good people of Edo State, and Nigeria at large and put a seal of happiness on the lives of many Nigerians, particularly those from the South-South geopolitical zone, who constitute the immediate catchment area of the hospital.”

He said Tinubu placed a very high premium on the well-being of all Nigerians through collaborative efforts among all health professionals to ensure that the poor health indices in Nigeria were reversed.
