We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: NICU Nurse

Location: Ikeja, Lagos

Employment Type: Full-time

 

Job Summary

• We are looking for a NICU Nurse to join our team and provide round-the-clock care for premature and ill newborn infants.
• NICU Nurse responsibilities include administering care to newborn infants residing in the NICU, running various medical tests and providing support to families as needed.
• Ultimately, you will work with newborn infants in critical care, along with supporting and providing information to parents and guardians.

 

Responsibilities

• Assist the NICU physicians in medical procedures and treatments
• Use and adjust specialized medical equipment
• Formulate nursing plans and evaluate the effectiveness of treatments
• Comfort sick newborns and anxious parents and family members
• Offer support to parents and educate them on the at-home care of their newborn.

 

Requirements

• Experience as a NICU Nurse or similar role
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• The ability to offer emotional support to parents, guardians, and family members
• Working knowledge of NICU specialized equipment
• Expertise in working with a team
• Exceptional ability to offer comfort to ill newborns.

Salary

• N200,000 - N250,000 per month.
