CALL FOR APPLICATIONS

Nigeria LNG Limited (NLNG), driven by its commitment to education and human capital development, invites applications from exceptional Nigerian graduates to apply for the NLNG Post Graduate Scholarship Scheme (PGSS) for master's degree programs in the United Kingdom in September 2024. The Scheme seeks to grow a vibrant network of high achievers, equipped with knowledge and skills to excel in their chosen fields and contribute meaningfully to nation- building.

NLNG is committed to building an inclusive scholarship program and welcomes applications from all qualified individuals, including Persons Living with Disabilities (PLWDs).

WHO CAN APPLY

  • Must be a citizen of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, resident in Nigeria, and committed to retuming to Nigeria after completing the studies.
  • Must have graduated from a public university in Nigeria.
  • Must have completed one year of compulsory National Youth Service Corps (NYSC).
  • Must not be a beneficiary of any other scholarship award, bursary, or grant from any other organisation.
  • Have demonstrated academic excellence and strong leadership ability.
  • Have a clear vision of how his/her study will benefit the chosen field and Nigeria.
  • Must not be a spouse, child, ward, or direct relation of staff of Nigeria LNG Limited

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

  • Have provisional admission from the University of Wolverhampton of study any of the following programs: MSc Civil Engineering,
  • MSc Computer Science, MSc Information Technology Management, LLM International Business Law, MSc Mechanical Engineering, and MPH Public Health.
  • Graduated with a minimum of Second Class Honours (upper division) in relevant field of study.
  • Completed NYSC program.
  • Have a minimum of 8.0 IELTS score (with not less than 7.0 in each element), OR 102 grade at TOEFL, OR 73-79 grade at Pearson Test of English Language (PTE).
  • Be NOT more than 30 years of age at the time of application.
  • Provide a letter of identification from applicable Local Government Council.
  • Provide a letter of consent from employer (if in service of any organisation}.
  • Possess an international passport valid for travel, for at least one year from September 2024.
  • Able to obtain a UK Tier-4 student visa if successful.
  • Possess a domiciliary bank account (GBP and USD) with either GTBank or First Bank for use if successful.

THE APPLICATION PROCESS

  • Interested persons should visit www.nigerialng.com to apply. Go to the “Social Performance” menu to select “Education” from the drop-down menu. Then click on the “Post-Graduate Scholarship”
  • application image under the “Related Links” section of the page to access the application portal. Click on “Register Here” to create a profile and commence the application process.

All applications MUST include scanned and uploaded copies of the following documents:

  • Recent passport photograph without glasses (not more than 3 months old)
  • International passport bio-data page
  • First degree certificate
  • NYSC Discharge certificate
  • Provisional admission letter from the University of Wolverhampton
  • IELTS result
  • Local Government Area (LGA) letter of identification
  • Employer consent letter (where applicable}

Entry closes Monday, 22nd April 2024.

  • Provide a valid email address as this will be used to communicate the status of your application.
  • Applicants are required to possess basic computing skills as the selection test method for the 2024 award will be an Online Proctored Computer-Based Test.
  • Only shortlisted candidates will be invited for the Online Proctored Computer-Based Selection Test.
