RE: CONFERENCE OF HEADS OF NURSING SERVICES DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH CARE FACILITIES IN NIGERIA.

Kindly refer to the above mentioned circular on the above mentioned subject dated August 04, 2022 and February 10, 2023 with Ref: NMCN/SG/RO/CIR/24/Vol.5/35. and NMCN/SG/RO/C1R/24/Vol.5/55. 

You will recall that the conference was scheduled to hold at six centers across the nation as indicated in both circulars. The conference was initially postponed due to poor response from registration of participants from all over the country.

However, there's still low turn out from prospective participants all over the country as observed on the NMCM portal. 

It is in the light of the above that the Council has decided to postpone the forthcoming conference indefinitely. Furthermore, all registered participants will be migrated and registered for the next biennial Nurse Leader's Conference at no additional cost. 

The Council sincerely regrets any inconveniences this indefinite postponement might have caused. 

The Council is committed to "Promoting and Maintaining Excellence in Nursing and Midwifery Education and Practice in Nigeria in line with best global practices".
