The Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria’s attention has been drawn to the illegality emanating from Nursing and Midwifery training institutions for selection of students after taken the first semester examination. The illegality borders on unjust selection of, and swapping of successful candidates with unsuccessful ones to continue the training.
The complaints have become enormous to the extent that Council has decided to intervene and ensure fair judgement is given to all the candidates after the examination.
In view of the foregoing, please be informed that henceforth, Council Zonal Officers covering your State shall be directed to monitoring the conduct of first internal examination of all approved Nursing and Midwifery training institutions in Nigeria.
