DEDA Hospital is inviting qualified and passionate Nursing Officers to join our healthcare team.

We are looking for dedicated nurses committed to delivering quality patient care and excellent patient experience in a professional clinical environment.

Preference will be given to candidates with a valid Midwifery Certificate (R.M.), and experience in maternal care services.

Requirements

• R.N./R.M., BNSc. with a current practicing license
• Valid registration with relevant professional bodies
• Minimum of 4 years post-qualification experience
• Strong clinical, patient management, and communication skills
• Computer literacy

Key Responsibilities

• Perform nursing duties within the hospital’s scope of practice while complying with hospital policies, health, and safety standards
• Independently manage responsibilities and meet assigned deadlines
• Act as a patient advocate by ensuring patients’ rights to information and proper medication administration
• Monitor and evaluate patient care actively and professionally
• Work collaboratively with healthcare teams while maintaining confidentiality and respectful communication with patients and families
• Complete and document initial and ongoing patient assessments accurately
• Utilize the SBAR technique effectively during handover and takeover procedures
• Support maternal and reproductive healthcare services, including antenatal, postnatal, and inpatient care
